Choose an area
We have over 45 areas to choose from! You need to decide what area is going to suit you.
We offer Apprenticeships from barbering to business administration and housing to hospitality.
Our Apprenticeship team are on hand to provide information advice and guidance to make sure you choose an area which will suit you best.
Interview
When you have had your CV submitted to an employer you may be asked to attend an interview.
Our Apprenticeship team will support you through this, offering interview techniques and training.
Finding a placement
All of our live Apprenticeship vacancies can be viewed and applied for at
www.apprenticeships.org.uk
You will need a CV; this is so that we can send it to employers on your behalf or for you to approach employers yourself.
You also could gain a qualification in job seeking skills.
Success
You have secured your employment and now your training will commence.
An assessor specialising in your chosen area will meet with you at your workplace every 4 -5 weeks for training and supporting you to work towards your qualifications. They will set you assignments, complete observations and guide you towards achieving your Apprenticeship.
What can I do after completing?
More than 80% of Weston College apprentices have continued working with their employer as a permanent member of staff.
Depending on your sector area you may be given the option to do further training such as Level 3 or a Level 4 and Level 5 which is equivalent to a Foundation Degree.
Further progression is available through Weston College degree level study.
