What is ESOL and how can it help?

ESOL courses will improve your English language skills to help make your day-to-day life in Britain easier. At Weston College, all our ESOL courses lead to a national qualification, recognised by employers. We offer morning, afternoon and evening classes.

Enrol for our ESOL courses if English is your second language and:

  • You want to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening
  • You need a certificate in English
  • You need to prepare for an IELTS test
  • You are interested in Citizenship.

We offer courses suitable for people from beginners’ level to upper intermediate level (Entry Levels 1, 2 & 3, and Levels 1 and 2).

ESOL Courses include:

  • Core English classes (Pre Entry, Level 1)
  • Preparation for IELTS (Level 2)

How to enrol

If you would like to join one of these courses please call Student Services on 01934 411 481 to make an appointment to talk with a member of the ESOL team. A member of the ESOL team will assess your level and find a class to best suit your needs. ESOL courses are delivered at Weston College’s Knightstone Campus.
