Levels Explained
When you view the details of your chosen course, you'll notice it has
been given a ‘Level'. Whatever your previous experience or GCSE
grades, we can get you started on the path you want, with courses
available at all levels. Below you‘ll find a quick guide to what all the
levels mean.
LEVEL 4-6: HIGHER EDUCATION |

BA Hons |
UCAS Points from successful completion of A Levels/BTEC Nationals etc (See Level 3). |
LEVEL 3: ADVANCED |

AS/A Level |
Normally you'll need 4-5 GCSEs grade A-C or an appropriate Level 2 qualification. |
LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE |

What qualications: |
Entry requirements: |

GNVQ Intermediate |
Normally you'll need 4 GCSEs grade C-E or an appropriate Level 1 qualification. |
LEVEL 1: FOUNDATION |

What qualications: |
Entry requirements: |

GNVQ Foundation |
Normally you'll need GCSEs grade E-G plus a commitment to learning. |
