What Will It Cost?
Reducing costs and providing funding
The Business Enterprise Centre offers more than 50 Apprenticeships and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and English and Maths top-up courses to eligible people, at reduced costs - many are free to England based businesses and their staff or volunteers.
In cases where no financial subsidies are available, standard costs will apply. Please contact us with details of your training requirements and we will be able to provide you with costings.

What funding is available to subsidise the costs of training?
Through our Train to Gain government contract, The Business Enterprise Centre can access financial subsidies for training for businesses and their staff or volunteers based in England, subject to eligibility criteria. Funding is widely available for staff or volunteers who have few formal qualifications or who do not hold relevant qualifications for their jobs. In many cases, the full costs of training may be subsidised, subject to eligibility. The following training programmes are popular for attracting funding:
- Apprenticeships (level 2)
- Advanced Apprenticeships (level 3)
- English or Maths top-up courses
- Leadership and Management
- National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) level 2
- National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) level 3
Funding rules for training are fairly complex and constantly changing - please contact us so that we can advise you on how what funding is currently available.
