Former Weston College student Charlotte Razay has achieved a First Class Degree in Law and is now well on her way to becoming a Solicitor.

Charlotte, 22, took A2 Levels in Law, English Language and Literature and Psychology at the College before moving on to the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol.

“Weston College gave me an idea of what to expect although it is a big step up to Degree Level,” said Charlotte.

“It was a lot of hard work but I am really happy to be where I am now.”

One of Charlotte’s former tutors at Weston College, Nicola Hughes, said her exceptional result was well deserved.

“Charlotte was an outstanding student with a passion for the subject,” said Nicola, Curriculum Manager Arts and Languages.

“She was inspired by Law while she was studying for her A2 Level and she has gone on to become an inspiration to other students, coming into the College to speak to them about her experiences since moving to UWE.

“She’s stayed in touch and when the email came thorough telling me she’d got a first, I could not have been happier, or more proud!”

Charlotte lives in Weston and is currently working on a placement at a law firm in Bath.
