Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)

The prestigious CoVE status has been awarded to two areas of the College – Construction and Hospitality. Over a three-year period substantial funding is being invested in these areas, enabling further development of their courses and facilities.

Travel options

An increasing number of our courses offer students residential trips and foreign exchanges as an integral part of their studies. With an ever expanding number of job opportunities across Europe, we feel these visits offer students an ideal opportunity to experience different cultures and countries.

There are also opportunities to travel on trips organised by the Student Union to both UK and European locations. Recent trips have included sightseeing in Paris and surfing at Newquay.

Career opportunities

Weston College specialise in offering training in a wide range of occupational areas. We offer the combination of teachers with extensive occupational experience together with superb facilities, innovative courses and links with local businesses.

University opportunities

Our Level 3 courses will provide you with a direct route to university in your chosen occupational/subject area. We offer Foundation Degrees in partnership with the University of Bath, Bath Spa University and the University of the West of England. These are stand alone degree level qualifications, but can also be used to study for a further year at university to gain a full degree. This means that you can progress to higher education while saving money.
