What will I do on the course?
To achieve this Apprenticeship you will need to complete a number of

Entry Requirements

Level 2 - What do you need?
4 GCSEs at grade C-E range or completion of a Level 1 course. If you are planning to study an Apprenticeship, these entry requirements are only recommendations, you may well be able to undertake an Apprenticeship with fewer qualifications.

For the Level 2 Higher
Diploma
you will need 4 GCSEs, including English and Maths at grade D or above, and preferably a minimum grade C in 2 other
subjects. Alternatively you will need an appropriate Level 1 qualification such as a NVQ 1 or BTEC Introductory Certificate or Diploma.
 

Progression

On successful completion you may:

  • Progress to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Continue your exciting and rewarding career in the Motor Trade

Achieving this Apprenticeship will give you the equivalent of 5 GCSEs grades A*-C.

* You may be exempt if you have recently achieved a good grade
in English and Maths at GCSE.
