assessed on an individual basis.

If you intend to progress to the Honours top-up stage you will also need Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above or an equivalent qualification. It is possible to study these qualifications alongside the Foundation Degree but you would be at an advantage if you obtained these before starting the course.

Progression:

You may have the opportunity to continue your studies for a further year to complete an Honours Degree at Hartpury College in Equine Science or other Equine related Degrees, or to progress to a specialist area such as equine behaviour, nutrition, dentistry, therapies or veterinary nursing.

Alternatively, this course will prepare you for a variety of careers in the equine industry to include instructors, event organisers, equine product sales or marketing and PR.

Many students then move on to training with an environmental health provider for a further year. Once the professional CIEH exam and portfolio have been passed this will accredit you as an Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP).
