There are no formal entry requirements needed however you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to furthering your studies and you will need to attend a course guidance interview

Progression

On successful completion you may:

  • Progress to an Apprenticeship or other Level 2 courses at the College
  • Continue developing your Functional Skills at Weston College, under the Foundation Learning Programmes
  • Enter employment, supported employment, employment with training
  • Progress to independent living.

Within Foundation Learning we work with a number of partner organisations to ensure that all students have the best possible
opportunities and support to be successful. These include: specialist colleges, schools, Connexions, Princes Trust, Purple Sheep, V Involve, National Autistic Society, North Somerset People First, Community Learning Disabilities Team, Freeways, Mencap and the Brandon Trust amongst many others.
