Construction and Engineering Centre of Excellence

This Centre delivers training in a wide range of practical construction skills including: electrical installation, carpentry, trowel trades, painting, decorating, plastering, property maintenance, and multicraft, including plumbing. The centre will also be offering a range of renewable energy courses.

The Centre of Excellence includes specialist workshops for training electricians and bespoke brickwork and carpentry workshops. It is also a specialist online learning and testing centre. This Centre’s learning resources and buildings are state-of-the-art, providing the College with everything it needs to support its massive expansion into Trade Apprenticeships.

The Centre offers tailored courses to all age groups from school leavers wishing to enter the trades, to adults who want to retrain for a career in construction.
