Growth in Legal Apprenticeships at Weston College
The Legal Apprenticeship provision at Weston College has made a successful start.
15 legal apprentices have started their Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) training, with everyone that completed exams in June, achieving distinctions.
Subject Area Manager for Law and Professional Services, Max Weedon said: “These results reflect the hard work and ability of students and tutors, but also the developments in the course over the last year.
“One of these is the new Winter Gardens Law and Professional Services Academy, providing excellent training rooms and other facilities for professional courses. A library is available in the day and evenings which includes the latest textbooks and materials for CILEx courses. Students also have the facility to watch lectures and participate in exercises online.”
The provision has also grown amongst industry professionals, with over 50 students completing their CILEx qualifications at level 3 and 6. Students are starting to travel from across the South West and Bristol to complete their CILEx course.
This rise in popularity has enabled Weston College to provide more classes and subject options for people considering a legal career, with more specialist tutors joining Weston College. If you would like to study one of our CILEx courses, please click here.
