Puxton Park - Weston College alumni
A number of Weston College alumni are now employed at Puxton Park – one of the region’s top visitor attractions.
We had the honour of visiting Puxton to meet up with them and find out more about their roles … as well as meet a few of the park’s animals!
Joe, Head of Animals, has been with Puxton Park for over five years. He’s responsible for animal welfare at Puxton – except the falconry and dairy farm animals.
Animal Team Supervisor Mac has been with Puxton Park for more than two years. Mac assists with the management of the animal team, animal husbandry and public education – giving talks to schools and visitors to the park.
Keeley, Animal Keeper, is the newest member of the team. She has been with Puxton for just over a year. Keeley is jointly responsible for the welfare, care, cleaning, health checks, maintenance of living space, cleaning and enrichment of the animals. She also conducts talks to park visitors.
