It's perfectly normal to not known what you want to do after you finish school. That's what Open Evening is all about! On arrival, you'll sign in with help from our friendly staff and then be guided to the subject area(s) you are most interested in. Here's why coming to Open Evening can benefit you:

  • Meet our experienced lecturing staff
  • See the state-of-the-art facilities
  • Speak about transport links
  • Speak with our learning support and welfare team
  • Get help with making an application on the night - Remember, you can apply for as many courses as you like. This will secure your place at the College.

Talk 2: 6:15 

Attend a talk on Weston College and what is has to offer school leavers. Discover all the study options available including new T Level qualifications, as well as our award-winning apprenticeship offer, having just been named the 2023 best apprenticeship provider in the whole of the South West! We'll give more insight in to life as a student plus how employers play a vital role in co-designing and delivering our curriculum to ensure our students leave with the right skills and knowledge to be successful in their chosen career. If you are interested in attending one of our talks, please let us know when you have signed in at your chosen campus! (Please note: Talks will only be held at Knightstone, Loxton and South West Skills)

University Centre Weston (UCW) enables learners to gain a full degree, right here in Weston-super-Mare. We have over 50 degree-level courses, including degree apprenticeships, delivered in partnership with our partner universities Bath Spa University and UWE Bristol.

Our smaller size makes us leaner and meaner. No big lecture theatres, instead we pride ourselves on having smaller classes meaning you get more personable relationship with lecturers/tutors which provides a higher level of support.
