Gill Cook

Lecturer and Degree Animal Management Co-ordinator

Hi everyone, my name is Gill and I have worked at Weston College Group for 14 years. My passions are horses, as well as keeping fit and raising my 2 young children.

I teach a range of subjects at higher education level and but focus on the business studies module on the Level 3 animal management course, plus biology and anatomy and physiology.

I have a BSc Degree in Equine Science as well as a Masters Degree in Education. I have also been involved in teacher training as well as being a qualified horse-riding instructor. I started work in the equine industry rescuing horses with the RSPCA and progressed my career starting with practical teaching with horses and then progressing to lecturer positions.
