Construction Management, Higher Apprenticeship
What will I do on this course?
You will work on built environment projects assisting the Site Manager to manage staff and budgets. You will also ensure contracts are delivered on time and to programme, and be responsible for hiring staff, deliveries and quality management and costs.
This apprenticeship includes two vocational qualifications: the Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision and the BTEC HNC Diploma in Construction and the Build Environment. Your English and maths competence will be developed throughout the apprenticeship. Level 3 maths will be part of the BTEC qualification.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by an assessor in the workplace to ensure that you are meeting the targets of your apprenticeship programme.
What could I do after this course?
This apprenticeship will open a number of career opportunities in building, civil engineering and specialist occupations.
You will need a English Language GCSE at grade 4 and maths GCSE at grade 5. You will also need to be in relevant employment, including having responsibility for supervising work activities on-site and the opportunity to demonstrate the competence required.
