Computing and Digital, T Level Transition Programme
This programme will develop your existing computing and IT skills and knowledge while also engaging you with the many employment opportunities available in the sector. This is a work-related programme, and you will be set a number of projects that are based on realistic workplace situations.
You will learn about the essentials of IT and cyber security, programming, creating websites, mobile apps and games, and emerging technologies. As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID). You will also complete a work placement and an employer set project. All aspects will be discussed with you at interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through coursework, practical projects, group work and a number of exams.
What could I do after this course?
This programme has been designed to enable learners to progress to a Digital T Level.
You’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.
