Digital: Support Services, T Level

What will I do on this course?

Designed and developed in collaboration with employers, this programme is a mixture of classroom and work-based learning to give you the technical skills and workplace experience to kick-start your career into the digital arena. You will complete a core technical qualification and digital specialism, and an industry placement of at least 315 hours.

Technical areas of study could include software development project, digital business, data and digital analysis, digital environments, emerging technology and security. You will then specialise in either digital infrastructure or digital support as part of this programme. As part of this study programme,
you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and an Individual Development (ID) session.

All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a number of exams and project work throughout the programme. You will need to complete all elements to achieve the overall T Level.

What could I do after this course?

This T Level opens up many opportunities while your industry placement highlights your commitment to the digital industry. You will have opportunities to progress to university degrees, such as Applied Computing at University Centre Weston, degree apprenticeships or directly to the workplace. This qualification is intended for those who wish to pursue a career in IT Support, Networks or Security.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (including English and maths), or the Technical Progression Certificate in Computing and Digital (T Level Transition Programme).

You’ll also get the chance to get those GCSE English and Maths grades you need if you haven’t already attained them, all wrapped up in a valuable and relevant training package.
