What will I do on this course?
This qualification will provide you with knowledge and understanding of babies and young children aged up to seven.It will allow you to qualify as a ‘staff member’ under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) staff-to-child ratio at Level 2.
As part of this study programme you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID). You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through assignments and observation of your practical work in your placement.
What could I do after this course?
An advanced apprenticeship or T Level in Education and Childcare.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2, including English or maths at grade 4, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification. On enrolment you will be required to undertake a DBS check.
