Education and Early Years, T Level Transition Programme
This qualification will provide you with knowledge and understanding of babies and young children aged up to seven. It will allow you to qualify as a ‘staff member’ under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) staff-to-child ratio at Level 2.
As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills alongside topics such as safeguarding, health and safety and children learning and development. You will also complete a work placement two days a week. . All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through assignments and observation of your practical work in your placement.
What could I do after this course?
An advanced apprenticeship or T Level in Education and Childcare or employment as an early year's practitioner.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 or a Level 1 in the sector plus, English or maths at grade 4. On enrolment you will be required to undertake a DBS check.
