Electrical Installation, Diploma
The Level 2 Electrical Installation is perfect if you want to enter into a career as an electrician. You can use this as an introduction to electrical installation if you meet the entry criteria, or as a follow-up to the Level 1 programme.
You will learn to work safely and effectively in an electrical installation environment, and also study the principles of electrical installation, health and safety, and electrical installation (buildings and structures). As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID).
You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical skills tests, observations, assignments, projects, and online assessments.
What could I do after this course?
You can progress to a job in the electrical industry or increase your skills and access higher-paying jobs with a Level 3 qualification in electrical installation or an apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2, with at least four at grade 4 with one being Maths, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.

What next? After I finish college I would like to undertake the inspecting and testing course so I can add more value to the company I work for and myself. Then I would like to continue to gain more experience with my current company to become more confident, skilled, and independent.
