Plumbing Studies, Diploma
This Level 2 plumbing programme is the perfect way to increase your plumbing skills and gain experience of working in the plumbing industry. You will learn about maintaining pipe systems and components; health and safety at work; materials; storing and pricing; hot and cold water; central heating; sanitation and roof weathering systems.
As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID). You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical skills tests, work observations, assignments, projects, and online assessments.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter into the plumbing industry, or increase your skills to earn higher wages with a Level 3 qualification in plumbing or an apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2, with at least four at grade 4 with one being Maths, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.
