Plumbing Studies, Extended Certificate
A perfect introduction into plumbing which could lead to a number of introductory roles within the plumbing industry. You will learn about plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning, responsibilities and procedures, safe working practices, environmental measures, and scientific principles.
You will also have tutorial support, employability sessions, personal and social development, and study skills. You will also develop your English and maths skills to a level required in the industry.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical observations, written assignments and a portfolio.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter the plumbing industry in a junior role or increase your skills to earn higher wages with a Level 2 qualification in plumbing, an apprenticeship or other construction-related programmes.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 3-1 with at least two at grade 3, or the successful completion of a pre-vocational programme.
