Health, Technical Progression Certificate
What will I do on this course?
This Level 2 Certificate in Health will equip you with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to successfully progress onto our T Level in Health. You will learn about human growth and development, safeguarding and protection, equality and diversity in practice, mental health and wellbeing, and social care values.
As part of this programme of study, you will complete an employer project that is developed, endorsed and validated by key employers within the health sector. Additionally, you will engage with work placements to develop the underpinning professional skills and practices required in the sector.
You will also develop your English and maths skills, attend tutorials and engage with Weston College’s Individual Development (ID).
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through exams, coursework, presentations and practical activities.
What could I do after this course?
This programme of study will prepare you for progression onto our Level 3 T Level in Health. Additionally, you could progress into a health and social care related apprenticeship or Level 3 BTEC in Health and Social Care.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4 or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.
