Hospitality Supervisory and Leadership, Diploma
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Supervision is an occupational qualification that builds on existing knowledge and skills of food and beverage service to prepares you for a career as a supervisor or manager in hospitality.
This qualification is based on national standards and is formally supported by a range of hospitality businesses and the Institute of Hospitality
This qualification is made up of six mandatory units that will develop the knowledge and skills in key areas of food and beverage service, including legislation, supervising of food and beverage service, food safety and promoting services and products.
You must also achieve a minimum of four optional units. You can select units of interest which include barista skills, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, preparing and serving wines and cocktails to name but a few.
How will I be assessed?
You will work on a portfolio and be observed through out the course.
Next Steps
On completion of the programme you can move into employment in the industry.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need five GCSEs at grade 9-4 or above (including English and maths) or a Level 2 qualification within the sector.
