Access to HE Diploma: Engineering

This course is designed for people aged over 19 years and is ideal if you want to change careers or start a career in Engineering. You will gain the foundation knowledge to tackle engineering studies at a higher level and, with this qualification, you will be able to meet the entry requirements of most engineering apprenticeships and degrees.

Engineering presents a realm of opportunities as it is a skill that is always in demand in almost every industry. Engineers apply scientific and mathematical knowledge to imaginative ideas in order to create and implement advanced technologies and solutions. A career in engineering is perfect for creative and scientifically minded people and this course is your next step towards that career.
