Access to HE Diploma: Healthcare
This course will give you the qualifications needed to study a university degree in an health related subject.
The Weston College Access team delivers highly academic programmes with a personalised approach, which results in success rates and progression to university being significantly higher than the national average for adults.
Be prepared to study hard. Although you will only be in college for 10 hours a week, you’ll be expected to study outside of this yourself. The good news is that you can do this anytime, anywhere, so it is still flexible to your needs.
You will study subjects such as biology, psychology, sociology and social policy. All learners receive tutorial sessions and also complete independent study units in study skills sessions.
At Weston College, we work hard to provide a schedule of learning that fits in with your lifestyle. As the course is only one/two days per week, you have the potential to work and study if you wish.
If you have no relevant work experience we recommend you find voluntary or paid work now in the care field to strengthen your university application.
