Access to HE: Social Work
The Access to HE Diploma in Social Work is designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in social work.
Throughout the course, you will be supported by experienced tutors who will provide guidance and feedback on your work. The course is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, and independent study.
You will study in college for 12 hours a week and complete the rest of your studies independently and in study skills sessions.

The assessments will be spread throughout the year, and you will receive regular feedback to help you progress and develop your skills.

Entry Requirements
It is expected that applicants should have a GCSE grade 4/C in English. GCSE grade 4/C in maths is desirable but can be studied alongside Access if not already achieved. For both English and maths, Level 2 equivalents will be considered, but applicants must check that this will be accepted by their chosen university prior to starting on the Access course.
