Plumbing, Diploma
This course is designed for people aged over 19 years who want to become a plumber or domestic heating engineer. It provides all the basic domestic heating and plumbing training you need to start work in the industry.
The Level 2 Diploma is ideal if you have some plumbing and heating knowledge and skills, possibly from an existing role in the industry under supervision and are looking to increase your skills and employment opportunities with a recognised qualification.
You will learn about safe working practices and how to install hot water systems, ground drainage systems and domestic heating systems.

- Domestic hot water systems
- Domestic cold-water systems
- Domestic central heating systems
- Above ground drainage

On-line exams and simulated practical assessments.
Progression opportunities
Successful completion of this course enables you to seek employment as a plumber or to progress to level 3 qualifications.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification.
