Scaffolder, Apprenticeship
This course is the perfect starting point for school leavers looking at a career in scaffolding, within the Construction industry. A job in scaffolding is highly beneficial; from being guaranteed to be in an outdoor, active career, to having great opportunities to progress or become self employed. The average a scaffolder could earn, is around £40,000 a year.
This course is appropriate for learners of all levels looking to study scaffolding.

What does the course involve?
You will develop your knowledge and work based skills focusing on: handling, stacking, servicing and inspecting scaffolding materials; and selecting, servicing and a range of common access and special purpose scaffolding structures used in the construction, engineering and industrial sectors. Alongside this, you will learn the health and safety regulations needed

What future study opportunities and careers are there?
You could progress to a job as a scaffolder. You could also choose to unlock the highest-paying scaffolding jobs with further qualifications, including Level 3s and apprenticeships.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification. You will also need to be in relevant employment, but we can help you find this.
