Welding Skills Introduction, EAL Certificate

Learn the basics needed to start welding and metal fabrication, this course is ideal for anyone who wants to become a welder or try their hand at something new and upskill.

You will have the chance to develop skills required for an engineering career in our brand-new state-of-the-art £650k welding facility. Which includes a ‘virtual welder’ simulation allowing you to learn basic techniques in your initial training.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is new to welding, metal fabrication and cutting and will enable you to gain industry recognised welding skills.

How will I be assessed?

You will have practical and theory assessments that assess your knowledge, understanding and skills.
