NHS Vaccination Training
This four week training course is designed for those looking to kick-start a rewarding career with the NHS. This course is about providing you with the skills to become a trained vaccinator.
The first two weeks is a virtual course where you will develop your skills and knowledge to support your role within the NHS including:
- Health and safety awareness
- Manual handling
- Infection prevention
- CV writing
- Submitting a job application
Week three, you will be at the Taunton Race Course Vaccination Centre for two days where you will begin the NHS administering vaccinations training.
Week four, you will be at the Taunton Race Course Vaccination Centre all week on a work placement.

You will be invited to write a job application through TRAC to become a member of NHS bank staff, where you have the potential to earn £24k pro rata.
There are no formal entry requirements. This four week course is delivered through Microsoft Teams (free to download). Monday to Friday 9.30am - 3pm daily for the first two week. You will need a laptop or PC with internet access. You will then need to be on site at Taunton Race Course for the second two weeks.
