Mental Health Awareness (Weston Town Centre)
The Resilience and Wellbeing course is intended to help you understand your own well-being needs and strengths, and look at steps you can take to support not only yourself, but others around you. In a small supportive group environment we will look at different areas which can impact our own wellbeing by taking part in discussions and various activities.
This course can be a good starting point for anybody who is looking to improve their own wellbeing and understand positive changes they can make for themselves.
What will I study?
During the course we will discuss digital wellbeing and online safety as this is an area which impacts many individuals who are exposed to the internet and social media. On successful completion of this course you will receive an Entry 3 Certificate in Progression.
Topics covered on the course include:
- British Values and understanding your local community
- Managing money and budgeting
- Making Healthy lifestyle choices
- Mental Wellbeing
- E-Safety
Progression Opportunities Progression options can include New Changes for Life, Skills for English, Multiply and many other adult courses in areas you may wish to improve your skills.

We offer careers advice, guidance, and support to everyone that studies on one of our courses.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. This four week course is delivered through Microsoft Teams (free to download). Monday to Friday 9.30am - 3pm daily. You will need a laptop or PC with internet access.
