Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance Activities, Award
This course introduces learners to electric/hybrid vehicle technology including, and in particular, the safety requirements of working on these types of vehicles, e.g., whilst carrying out routine vehicle servicing, general repairs that are not related to the high energy electrical systems.
Please note: This unit does not prove that someone is competent to work on the motor vehicle high energy electrical system and assumes an already good level of electrical understanding. This unit does not cover commercial or domestic electrical installations including charging equipment and cables.
There are no formal entry requirements.
