Badgworth Equine and Animal Centre

Badgworth Equine and Animal Centre (EAC) is located south of Bristol, easily accessible via the A38 and the M5 at junction 22.

It is perfectly placed to serve the students not only in the south west but also the Midlands, South Wales and central southern England. Badgworth EAC is a modern centre with the emphasis on excellence in every sphere.

Located in 57 acres, the centre offers students an outstanding experience with access to a very successful, commercially-operated equestrian centre with a national reputation. It is highly commended by the British Horse Society, and approved to run affiliated British Show Jumping and British Dressage.

Equestrian Centre

The equine facilities include a 30-horse stable yard, a 10-stable American barn, three outdoor all-weather arenas, a 55m x 30m indoor riding arena, two with Andrews Bowen waxed surfaces. We have a wide variety of horses, owned by Badgworth and on loan.

Animal Centre

The animal care department has an extensive range of small and large mammals such as alpacas, rodents, African pygmy hedgehogs, rabbits and meerkats, various birds and vivarium species including reptiles, invertebrates and aquatics.

In addition there are suitable facilities for dog grooming.

Learning Resource Centre

Our Learning Resource Centre includes a range of learning material resources and an IT suite with internet and email access.

Café


Our café offers a range of snacks with lots of healthy options to suit all tastes and budgets. The centre has excellent working relationships with the private sector and charitable organisations within the local area, which can provide student placement opportunities and help with teaching at the centre, in College and during field trips.
