This course usually lasts one year and includes two and a half to three hours of tuition a week for 30 weeks, starting in September.

Assessment method
Entry level Functional Skills Maths
You will complete two internal assessments (Non-Calculator and Calculator).
The exams are on demand and can be arranged on multiple dates during an academic year.
Functional Skills Level 1/2 Maths
You will complete two external assessments (Non-Calculator and Calculator). They can be paper based or online depending on your preferred way of working.

Once you have applied for this course, we will arrange a short interview with a tutor who will find out about your current level of understanding and your future ambitions to ensure you start on the course most appropriate for you.
