Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice
This course enables you to study specialist areas of law and legal practice. These can be used alongside experience in practice to qualify as Chartered Legal Executives. Successful completion results in achieving the CILEx Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice.

- Law of Tort (online or on campus)
- Practice of Family Law (on Campus)
- Law of Contract (online)
- Land Law (online or on campus)
- Equity and Trusts (online)
- Conveyancing (online)
- Wills and Succession (online)
- Probate Practice (online)
- Legal Research Skills (online)
- Client Care Skills (online)
As a Weston College CILEx learner you will be taught by highly trained staff who have experience within the industry, including several with experience as CILEx examiners.
CILEx qualifications are an opportunity to become a qualified Chartered Legal Executive, an authorised person under the Legal Services Act 2007 able to undertake almost all the activities of other types of Qualified Lawyer, such as Solicitors. Chartered Legal Executives can then become partners of law firms, become Advocates, qualify also as solicitors and even become Judges.
Course fees
£500 for Law units, £500 for Legal Practice units, £300 for Professional Skills units.
