The Awards We Won This Year
We’re proud to say that we have won a wide range of awards this year! It’s incredibly special to receive recognition for what we do and is a great source of pride for Weston College staff and students.

This year, Weston College was named the 7th Most Inclusive UK Employer by the National Centre for Diversity! This is an achievement that we are incredibly proud of, and that reflects our key values as an organisation.
Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive at the National Centre for Diversity said: “I send my warmest congratulations to Weston College on successfully reaching number 7 in the Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces Index 2023. It’s been a challenging year and yet, it has not dented the excellent work that organisations and individuals do in promoting Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (FREDIE) best practices.

We were extremely pleased this year when Film and Media student Kam was named Higher Education Student of the Year by the Association of Colleges (AoC). Kam’s journey from where he started to where he is now is truly inspirational.
In addition to his course Kam is committed to social justice, specifically, his incredible work surrounding penal reform. Kam is also helping to develop an app which provides comprehensive support for individuals leaving custodial settings.
