Skills Bootcamps offers employers the opportunity to address critical skills gaps in their workforce through high-quality, intensive training programs. These Bootcamps are designed to equip employees with the latest industry-relevant skills in regionally identified skills shortage areas like digital, Project Management, and HGV training, ensuring businesses remain competitive and adaptable to change.
SMEs can take advantage of 90% funding, making the training highly affordable, while large employers can access 70% funding, enabling them to upskill their teams without significant financial investment.
The Bootcamps run in specific funding windows, allowing employers to plan and take advantage of these cost-effective training opportunities when they are available. Skills Bootcamps can enhance a workforce’s skills while managing training costs effectively.
Tailored learning offers employers the flexibility of bespoke training, designed specifically to provide employees with the knowledge and skills they need on a chosen subject, such as managing difficult conversations, without the need for exams or assignments.
This approach ensures that the training is highly relevant to the specific challenges faced by the business. As the courses are co-designed with the employer, employers can ensure the content aligns with their unique skills gap. Bespoke training offers flexibility of delivery—whether in-person, online, or at a time that suits the business—ensures minimal disruption while maximizing the impact of the training.
Employers fund up to 50% of the cost of training (in line with the Weston College Fee's policy) providing a cost-effective and efficient way to address skills gaps and improve employee performance in a way that fits seamlessly into the organisation's needs.
The Adult Skills Fund offers an excellent opportunity for employers to upskill their staff with fully funded qualifications up to Level 2 for individuals earning less than £25,000 per year. This initiative helps businesses provide essential training to employees, enhancing their skills and improving overall workforce productivity at no cost to the employer. For employees earning above the £25,000 threshold, employers can take advantage of a 50% co-funding option, ensuring affordable access to high-quality training.
This initiative benefits businesses by supporting workforce development, increasing employee retention, and helping organisations stay competitive. It’s a cost-effective way for employers to invest in their staff and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Weston College offers a range of commercially available courses designed to meet the needs of various industries, all at competitive prices.
