Joining Us From School in September? Then Make Sure You book Onto Your Welcome Evening!
Welcome Evenings will provide you with further key information about your chosen subject area and the programme for which you have applied. It will also give you an opportunity to have a more in-depth look at our facilities, meet staff and get any answers to questions you might have around what you will learn, how you will be assessed and the wider support arrangements available. This is a crucial stage in your applicant journey, as we will make sure you know all the key dates and activities coming up before you start your programme. We want you to be well informed and leave feeling confident that you have made the right choice for your post-16 learning.
Weston College appreciates the crucial role parents/carers and families play in supporting their children to settle in at college and be successful on their programme. We would therefore actively encourage all parent/carers to attend with their child.
How to Register for the Event
The date of your Welcome Evening is dependent on the subject area you have been offered a place for. To make sure people don’t miss out, we have provided a few of dates between March and May for each subject area, of which you only need to attend one.
To secure your place at this event, please click the below link and complete the registration form and select the relevant evening. We will be closing the registration period 48 hours prior to that month’s Welcome Evening.

A reminder that we have also now launched We Are Weston – our specific information and advice section for applicants. We Are Weston will be your first port of call to find out information about joining us, whether that be the next steps in your journey, how to engage our support services or find out key information such as term dates. Just click here to enter.
We will now also communicate to you via your personal email address and WhatsApp with further useful tips and guidance about what will be happening over the next few months. We would also recommend you follow our social media channels for the latest college news and see what our learners have been up to.
