With expert tutor guidance throughout, you will learn practical IT skills that can help you communicate online, search for jobs, access services, and use technology with greater confidence.
What will I study?
During the course, you will cover a range of essential digital skills, including:
- Understanding computer basics and using technology for everyday tasks
- Using your Universal Credit Journal to record and manage job search activities
- Setting up and using email for online communication
- Developing confidence with keyboards, typing, and organising files
- An introduction to Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Word
- Outlook
- Teams
- PowerPoint
Progression Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the course, you will achieve an Entry Level 3 Personal Progression Qualification.
This qualification can help you progress onto a Level 1 IT course or explore other employability and skills development programmes available through Weston College.
