Solutions - Confidence, Skills & Progression for Adults

The Solutions Programme is designed to support you if you’re feeling unsure about your next step or want help moving closer to work, training, or volunteering. It’s a flexible, community-based programme that helps you rebuild confidence, develop practical skills, and improve your overall wellbeing.

The programme focuses on helping you move towards employment by building the skills and confidence employers look for. Through a mix of one-to-one support, small group sessions, and short courses, you’ll develop communication skills, improve your digital knowledge, and gain the confidence to take positive steps towards work or further training. Support is tailored to your goals, helping you identify realistic next steps and prepare for future opportunities.

If you’re aged 19+ and not quite ready to move directly into work or training, the Solutions Programme offers a supportive first step. It helps you build strong foundations for employment while exploring options that match your interests, skills, and long-term ambitions.

Halo workplace logo

Our workplace champions the right of staff to embrace all Afro-hairstyles. We acknowledge that Afro-textured hair is an important part of our Black employees’ racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identities, and requires specific styling for hair health and maintenance. We celebrate Afro-textured hair worn in all styles including, but not limited to, afros, locs, twists, braids, cornrows, fades, hair straightened through the application of heat or chemicals, weaves, wigs, headscarves, and wraps. In this workplace, we recognise and celebrate our colleagues’ identities. We are a community built on an ethos of equality and respect where hair texture and style have no bearing on an employee's ability to succeed.
