Carpentry Apprentice at PD AND CL BUILDING SERVICES LTD
We work in a varied and ever-changing environment, giving you the opportunity to learn all aspects of carpentry and joinery, including first fix, roofing, second fix, and final finishes. This is a rewarding role for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and build a successful career in a valuable trade. As a Level 2 Carpentry Apprentice, you will support experienced carpenters with a range of tasks, including:
- Measuring and cutting materials
- Using tools safely
- Assisting with installations
- Maintaining a tidy work area, and developing practical carpentry skills on site

PD&CL provides a flexible service to the commercial market.
Specialities include commercial/industrial property refurbishment programmes, external cladding, shop fitting, office refurbishments, social housing and service personnel refurbishments, disabled adaptations, planned maintenance, small works projects, installation of budget to bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, and property maintenance. All of our employees are qualified tradesmen and are recognised under the CSCS and CPCS schemes, They are part of a successful team that supplies good quality workmanship on time and in a responsible manner.
- You will be pursuing a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry and Joinery, through Weston College
- As part of this programme, you will attend Weston College once a week, for workshops
- An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as supporting you in college throughout your apprenticeship
- At the conclusion of your programme, your qualification will be assessed through an Apprenticeship Assessment
Progression to the Level 3 qualification as a Carpenter & Joiner.
