Adaku Onuegbu: Guest Workshop for Black History Month

Adaku, a former Health and Social Care Level 3 learner, recently visited our learners as part of 'Saluting our Sisters' during Black History Month!

Adaku provided learners with her personal narrative, discussing her journey as a learner at Weston College and now a Psychology graduate, inspiring learners to achieve their aspirations within the field of health and social care!

After hearing Adaku's talk, one learner commented: "It was so interesting to hear about how differently she grew up to me and all her morals and goals. It was encouraging that you can achieve anything despite barriers you may face.

"It also linked into our college course and what we've been learning - it was amazing!"
