Toby

Toby’s journey at Weston College is a remarkable story of resilience and transformation. After leaving college during a difficult first year, he chose to return to the Plastering course with a renewed mindset - and has since become a model learner. His attendance is excellent, and he has achieved distinction grades across his course, demonstrating exceptional progress and maturity.

Toby has also made a positive impact beyond the classroom. He has contributed to the Skills Summit, supported the community through the ‘Biscuits and Benches’ project, and confidently represented his course at the Parent Showcase. His tutor describes him as the best plasterer in the group, reflecting his strong work ethic and talent.

Having completed his Level 1 Plastering qualification with distinction, Toby is progressing to Level 2. With his dedication and passion for the trade, he is on a clear path toward a successful future in the construction industry. Weston College is incredibly proud of how far he has come.
