Based at Weston College's South West Skills Campus, you will learn from experienced construction professionals using industry-standard facilities designed to reflect modern construction environments. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to supervise construction projects safely and effectively.

You will apply your learning directly within your workplace, gaining valuable experience supervising live construction activities while working alongside experienced site managers and project teams.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment takes place throughout the apprenticeship and concludes with an independent End-Point Assessment (EPA).
The EPA is normally completed over a period of up to six months following the gateway stage and consists of three assessment methods designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for the role.
You will also complete regular workplace reviews and progress meetings throughout the apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements
Typical entry requirements include:
• Five GCSEs or equivalent, including English, maths, and a science subject
OR
• A relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship
You must also:
• Be employed in a relevant construction role • Be supported by your employer to complete the apprenticeship
Individual employers may set additional entry requirements depending on the role.
If you are considering progressing to higher education after completing your apprenticeship, University Centre Weston typically requires three A Levels (or equivalent) for entry onto degree programmes.
