Course Overview

This two-year Level 3 Extended Diploma combines technical knowledge with practical experience, preparing you for a wide range of careers in computing and digital technologies. You'll study programming, software development, cyber security, networking, and emerging technologies while developing the problem-solving, teamwork, and project management skills valued by employers.

Based at Knightstone Campus, you'll learn in industry-standard IT suites using the latest software and development tools. You'll be taught by experienced computing professionals, complete a minimum of 37 hours of work experience across the programme, and become part of Weston College's Digital Career Excellence Hub, giving you access to employer projects, networking opportunities, guest speakers, and careers support.

• Principles of Computer Science

You'll also complete practical projects, collaborative assignments, and independent research to build your technical knowledge and professional portfolio.
