In the first year of your A Level programme, you will study towards an AS Level. AS Levels are nationally recognised, standalone qualifications completed at the end of Year 1. AS Levels provide a baseline understanding of the subject before delving deeper in the second year of A Level.
This option allows flexibility for learners who wish to study four subjects to achieve an AS Level qualification in Year 1 and then continue three subjects to full A Level in Year 2. AS Levels hold UCAS points which can support your progression to university.'
