Psychology, A Level
What will I do on this course?
You will find out about a variety of psychological approaches including biological, positive and psychodynamic and how they relate to each other. You will also study key pieces of research and debates covering a variety of perspectives and topics such as criminal behaviour.
This course also covers how psychological data is collected (through your own research), and will allow you to develop an interest in and enthusiasm for psychology, with opportunities to go on excursions and explore the subject-matter in depth.
How will I be assessed?
All units are assessed at the end of year two through exams.
What could I do after this course?
For many universities, psychology is considered a science, and can be used towards a variety of courses including psychology itself.
Remember, as this is an A Level course you will need to choose 2 additional A Levels to study alongside this course
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4, including English, and grade 5 or above core and additional science.
