This knowledge qualification is designed to support the understanding of principles of first aid for mental health and to support the role of mental health first aider in the workplace.

Date: Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th October 2026
Time: 9am–5pm (Day 1) and 9am–1pm (Day 2)
Location: South West Skills Campus, Locking Road, Weston Super Mare, North Somerset, BS22 8ND
Duration: 1.5 days, face to face, with multiple choice test on the final day
Cost:
- Fully funded for employees earning under £26,800 per annum
- 50% Co-funded for those earning over £26,800, employers are required to contribute £52.92 per person
