Induction

Your apprentice will have attended a corporate induction day at Weston College. Alongside an overview of Smart Assessor, Teams and the Apprenticeship Hub, your apprentice will now be aware of the requirements for their subject specific standard. For your information, the induction day will have included the following content:

Mandatory training: -

  • Prevent
  • Safeguarding
  • Health and Safety
  • Maths and English diagnostic assessments (BKSB)
  • Smart Assessor
  • Teams and Apprenticeship Hub access

Facilitator led activities/discussions in relation to: -

  • British Values
  • Prevent and Safeguarding
  • Online Safety
  • Equality and Diversity

Subject specific signposting: -

  • Information regarding EPA
  • Setting of initial targets

An assessor will contact you and your apprentice within 72hrs of the induction session. The first meeting should then take place within two weeks of the induction date. We want to ensure that there is a smooth transition for your apprentice from the requirements of the induction day into the workplace and would ask for your cooperation and support in making this happen.
